• Thursday, October 18, 2018 10pm - 11:00pm - Systems Administration will be rebooting the HPC head/login node, hpcm.tamucc.edu, to apply the latest Bright Cluster Manager updates and the latest Red Hat Enterprise Linux kernel update.  Running jobs will be left running and verified afterwards.
  • Friday, September 28, 2018 10pm - Saturday, September 29, 2018 1:00am - Systems Administration will be updating and rebooting the Corpus Christi Research Storage cluster nodes to apply the latest GlusterFS software updates and Red Hat Enterprise Linux kernel updates.  The recommended procedure is to do an off-line update, so Systems Administration will be shutting down the compute and gpu nodes and un-mounting the /work mount from the hpcm.tamucc.edu and gridftp.tamucc.edu servers during the maintenance.  Running jobs will be paused during the maintenance and resumed afterwards.  If your Slurm sbatch jobs have not been written such as they know how to handle being paused and resumed we would recommend not starting any jobs until after 1:00am when the maintenance window is complete. -- Completed without issues.
